Project

Messer, largest family-run industrial gases specialist worldwide, has commissioned a new production plant for air gases in Dung Quất, a coastal city in the center of Vietnam. The air separation plant is located on the site of the new steelwork of the Vietnamese Hoa Phat Group and supplies the industrial company directly with a gas pipeline. From a total of 400,000 m3 of process air per hour, oxygen, nitrogen and argon are produced. As such, Dung Quất is now one of Messer’s largest production sites. The air separation plant is based on piles totaling 33,000 m in length; around 17,000 m3 of concrete were processed.

Known for designing and manufacturing Viet Nam’s first spherical tanks, CNI is still the only one in Viet Nam able to fabricate spherical tank shells in the workshop. We have secured our country’s first position with a 70% market share for spherical tanks ever constructed in Viet Nam. A pressure vessel/ pressure tank, an essential component across various industries, serves as a container engineered to contain gases or liquids under high pressure and temperature conditions. These vessels play a crucial role in storing, processing, and transporting substances in sectors such as chemical processing, oil and gas refining, power generation, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. Available in different shapes and sizes, including cylindrical, spherical, and cylindrical with hemispherical ends, pressure vessels are meticulously designed, manufactured, and operated to adhere to stringent safety standards. Their construction and operation must meet rigorous regulatory requirements to ensure safety and prevent accidents.

A spherical storage tank is a large, rounded container used for storing liquids or gases under pressure. Its spherical shape allows for even distribution of pressure, making it suitable for containing substances such as oil, gas, or liquefied natural gas (LNG). These tanks are often constructed from high-strength materials like steel and are designed to withstand extreme temperatures and environmental conditions.
