Cariflex is a global leader of isoprene rubber latex (“IR Latex”) and isoprene rubber (“IR”) for medical end markets and other high-value markets with strong growth drivers. Cariflex will be constructing the world’s largest and Singapore’s first polyisoprene latex plant on this site. Driven by a strong commitment to better serve its global customers in medical and consumer products, this investment represents the largest capacity expansion in Cariflex’s existing accomplishments. Cariflex’s polyisoprene rubber latex (CariflexTM IR Latex) is a synthetic, water-based polymer latex, suitable for a wide range of high-value applications. Surgical gloves and condoms represent the key end markets that CariflexTM IR Latex are used for, on account of its unique value proposition as an alternative to natural rubber latex. The Singapore plant will play a vital role in Cariflex’s manufacturing supply versatility to serve their customers in Southeast Asia, where the world’s key manufacturing plants of surgical gloves and condoms are located.

CNI provides process vessels tailored to accommodate a diverse array of design parameters, i.e. pressure, temperature, and fluid state variations, including gaseous, liquid, and multiphase (both corrosive and hazardous fluid). This comprehensive range ensures compatibility with various process plants. The process vessels, integral to industries such as petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and chemical manufacturing,…, are used in various industrial processes to hold, mix, or react with substances under specific conditions such as pressure, temperature, and chemical environment. Designed to meet precise specifications, process vessels come in different configurations, including reactors, columns, storage tanks, and distillation units. Our process vessels are constructed from materials such as stainless steel, carbon steel, or exotic alloys, depending on the application requirements and the nature of the substances they handle. The process vessels then undergo rigorous testing, inspection, and certification to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

A reactor is a specialized container used in chemical and biochemical processes to facilitate chemical reactions. It provides a controlled environment for chemical reactions to occur, typically under specific temperature, pressure, and other operating conditions. Reactor vessels come in various designs, including batch reactors, continuous-flow reactors, and stirred-tank reactors, each tailored to accommodate different reaction requirements and production scales.

A tower/ column is designed to facilitate physical or chemical transformations of substances by providing a controlled environment for reactions or separations to occur. Tower vessels are typically tall cylindrical structures equipped with internal trays, packing materials, or other internals to enhance mass transfer and promote efficient contact between process streams. They are commonly used in applications such as distillation, absorption, stripping, and fractionation, where they play a crucial role in separating components based on their differing physical or chemical properties.

A flare knockout drum is an essential component of a flare system, designed to remove liquids, such as oil and water, from the gas stream before it is released into the atmosphere through the flare stack. The flare knockout drum works by allowing the gas stream to enter the vessel at high velocity, causing the liquids to separate and settle at the bottom of the drum. This process helps prevent environmental pollution and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements for emissions control in industrial facilities.
